During this difficult time, our team is taking extra precaution and has increased our cleaning efforts to help provide a safe space for our employees and customers. We are also providing customers with phone consults to help go over your latest project or an upcoming project in the future. We urge everyone to stay safe and take extra security measures. If you’re not feeling well, please stay home.
Our plan for this blog was to help share a barbecue recipe for our customers and we still plan on doing that. With the kids home from school right now and the grocery stores running out of items we may need to get a little creative with our cooking. Luckily, spring is only officially a couple days away which means that you can bring out the grill and escape a little from the chaos. Click here to find a Chicken-Apricot Skewer recipe! The great thing about skewers is the fact that you can easily change the ingredients on the skewer. Don’t like or have apricots? Switch it up to peppers, onions, tomatoes, peaches or another vegetable. You don’t care for chicken? Swap it out for steak or shrimp.
Need some other fun recipes while the kids are home? Combine cooking lunch or dinner with an activity for the whole family. Teach them how to cook, set the table and clean the table. Work on using measuring cups and adding different ingredients to help encourage math and critical thinking. Here are 16 other grilling recipes that your kids are sure to love – we left hot dogs off the list.
Do you have a family favorite recipe? Send it to us so we can share in the next blog.
